Concussion Care at Campbell Chiropractic

Finding the Problem
We start with a thorough history to determine the cause of the injury, whether a sports injury, car accident, or other trauma to the head. We’ll do an in-depth neurological assessment of the brain and various research-backed surveys to dial in what areas of the brain or which systems are not working as they should.
Based on this information, Dr. Cam will design a neurological exam to assess each lobe of the brain and the different structures of the brain to see which ones are functioning properly and which areas are struggling.
Customized Care
Based on the severity of the injury, we may give you gentle exercises to stimulate the areas of the brain that aren’t working as they should. For many patients, this is quite effective. If the injury is more significant and stimulation of those areas of the brain is uncomfortable, we will take a different approach and stimulate the areas of the brain that are working well to “retrain” the areas that are struggling.
